How did you attract/address your audience? My magazine conforms to most of the conventions used in magazines such as Vibe and XXL. I have sell lines in around the  same places in the case study magazine and the camera angle is a mid shot just like the Vibe magazine. This is good as the main image is one of the unique selling points of a front cover. I used one prop which is a bandanna to further display my genre of hip-hop. I used a background which would make my model stand out and a background that would look effective against the Masthead. It makes all of the features stand out because of the colour and effect on it. When I asked people what the thought about this page most of them said that the masthead was their favourite feature. They liked the word play in the headline and my strap line My contents page is quite different to other contents pages in the VIBE and XXL as there is multiple images on mine. I used a city skyline from Google so it would look more of a hip-hop page. The design layout is quite creative and some would say that it resembles other genre magazine. It is simply an example of how my magazine "surpasses expectations" (magazine slogan).

My DPS uses multiple images to showcase the model. I do this through the different modes such as gray scale and it links in with the theme of my article. My font for my headline was the quite popular because of the explosion type surrounding it has. I also made my stand first a similar font so it would look bold. I used an enlarged quote right in the middle so it is constantly in the reader's mind while reading the article. The article side contrasts the other side a lot which is want I wanted. It is more likely to attract my audience that way.
